Did You Know?
Tamarack Cellars Firehouse Red was named for the World War II fire department building at the Walla Walla Regional Airport where the winery resides.
The Tamarack Cellars Firehouse Red was served as a December pairing since the entire bite and wine reminded us so much of Christmas.
TYPES OF GRAPES
Crushed gently and dropped by gravity into small 1.5 ton bins, cold soaked a minimum of 48 hours, then inoculated with a variety of yeasts, hand-punched and pressed directly to barrel, where the wine finishes both primary and secondary fermentation.
