With a name like Potlicker Kitchen, you know that what comes out of Nancy’s kitchen is going to be “downright potlick’n good”! Potlicker Kitchen was created in 2009 by Nancy and Walter Warner.
Nancy, “The Potlicker”, as she is known (she even signs her emails with Nancy Warner- the Potlicker) creates Vermont crafted beer, wine, and fruit jellies, along with artisan jams, pestos, and pickled foraged vegetables.
Potlicker Kitchen is known for their beer jellies with names like, Heady Beer Jelly, Hefweizen with Orange Beer Jelly, India Pale Ale Beer Jelly, and Oatmeal Stout Beer Jelly. They even have a Gluten-Free Beer Jelly! Their artisan fruit jams are also out of this world! Blueberry-Sage Jam, one we are using in October’s pairing, has whole wild Maine blueberries with a touch of sage. Wonderful flavors come together, you could eat it with a spoon! Which is something I would recommend doing, especially with the Carrot Cake Jam. This gem has been a Specialty Foods Sofi Finalist 2015 & 2016! Nice job!
You can find these amazing jams and jellies online at potlickerkitchen.com where you can shop product from here. Nancy also shares her jam ideas and pairing guide along with sweet and savory recipes and even cocktails to spark your creativity with her jellies and jams.
So, put up your feet, grab some cheese and wine, and pair away with any of the Potlicker Kitchen Jams, Jellies, and Pickles. Just don’t forget the spoon!
